Description
The GÉANT backbone network has completed its packet layer migration to a new equipment vendor. This move has been made possible by the GÉANT Service Orchestrator, a result of cross-departmental collaboration between teams and, the software developed in the Workflow Orchestrator programme. Looking back on the migration, how have we managed pull this off, and what is our new vantage point into the future?

We will showcase how GÉANT has been able to use community-developed network orchestration software tools to migrate the GÉANT IP backbone network, and share how this has impacted our organisation going forward.
