Speaker
Description
Numerous activities are advancing state-of-the-art of authentication and authorization infrastructures, focusing primarily on establishing a trusted identity and enable collaboration across borders. Nevertheless, there are still often overlooked challenges that stems from a lack of visibility and control over who has access to what - and why. That can be addressed by an IGA system, as will be showcased in this talk using open-source IGA midPoint which is already established in the academic community. The talk also includes a demonstration of AI-powered features that lower typical barriers in adopting such tool.
What will the TNC audience take away from your talk?
Audience will understand that recent challenges of managing identities are going beyond what is typically presented in context of federation and authentication and authorization infrastructures. Addressing regulatory compliance and having better control over who has access to what and why are becoming a priority. Audience will learn how identity management and administration (IGA) tools are helping with addressing such challenges including demonstration how an EU made open-source IGA platform which is already tried and trusted by academia can help lowering typical integration obstacles using AI powered techniques.
