Description
“The Case for NRENs" website long served as a vital repository of knowledge for the global research and education community. However, to remain effective, the platform must move beyond a rather static document library to become an interactive, strategic roadmap for NREN leaders. We are currently spearheading a major revamp of the platform, transforming it into a dynamic tool where operational actions directly feed into strategic development. This Community Hub session showcases the transition from a vision to a digital reality.
What will the TNC audience take away from your talk?
Participants will leave this session with:
• A first look at the revamped "The Case for NRENs" visuals: Reviewing mock-ups of the interactive checklist and maturity assessment tools to understand the new user experience.
• A new framework for NREN development: Understanding how specific operational milestones (Checklist) are mapped to strategic maturity levels (Matrix).
• A voice in the GN5-3 content roadmap: The opportunity to identify the specific advocacy materials and document types that will make the portal most effective for their regional government relations.
• Insights into collaborative project delivery: A look at how strategy, design leadership, and technical architecture are being synchronised to transition a concept into a fully-funded future project.
