Gender Equality: BoF

Description
This BoF will build on the Gender Equality Round Table from TNC23 and be a chance for the NREN community to share the progress they have made in addressing gender equality issues within their organisation and showcase some initiatives that are proving successful in supporting women to develop successful careers within the NREN environment. A series of short updates will be given, followed by a general discussion on activities and initiatives we can collaborate on to support gender equality in every part of our working lives.

NREN Gender Equality Principles (speaker, Nicole Harris)
"Privilege for Sale" (speaker, Zoe Fischer)
IAM-HER initiative (speaker, Dedra Chamberlin)
Women in Network at SuperComputing (WINS) (speaker, Brenna Meade)
GÉANT Mentorship programme (speaker, Irina Sidorova)
Following these short presentations, the GÉANT Gender Equality Committee will lead a discussion on how we can engage with these initiatives and support promotion and engagement.
